2020 NWC Fall Sports Protocols

NORTHWEST CONFERENCE

The Northwest Conference has implemented the following procedures for the 2020 fall sports season.

*Ticket pricing

Varsity Football $6 (Allen East $10)

Varsity Soccer and Volleyball $5

Jr Hi Volleyball and Football $3

*Football seating

It has been decided that ticket allotment will be determined by seating capacity at various stadiums with home school receiving 2/3 of the tickets and the visiting school receiving 1/3 of the tickets. Each school will determine the access to those tickets with priority being given to players, cheerleaders, and band members for home games. All football tickets will be presale only. Home and visiting spectators will need to purchase tickets at their respective schools prior to arriving at the game. There will be no tickets sold at the gate.

*All other sports will present a voucher at the gate and pay at the gate. If you do not have a voucher you will not be admitted.

* Soccer and volleyball seating will be determined based on seating capacity. This information will be shared with the visiting schools in advance of game day.

* Visiting schools will provide game day rosters for those to be admitted at the pass gate. This includes coaches, video personnel, stat personnel, and district administrators.

*Bands will only be permitted at home games

* No passes will be allowed. This includes NWC or league passes, local district passes, senior passes, or NWC lifetime passes.

2020 NWC Football Schedule

The 2020 NWC Football Schedule has been released. The NWC will play divisions and have a tournament to determine the true NWC champion. Our league size and geographic locations of the schools make this possible. We will play Division games in weeks 1-3, and start the NWC Football tournament week 4. The division games in weeks 1-3 are shorter bus rides for everyone, and will reduce the time our student athletes congregate in a bus. We will use records to determine seeds, and use head to head results or draw pills to break any ties in the seeding. The winner of game 7 will be the NWC champion, regardless of division record. We will do our best to make sure everyone plays 3 home games & 3 away games in weeks 1-6. If schools can’t reach an agreement, then we will use a coin flip to determine the host school (this will likely happen week 5, and game 7). The higher seeded school is not guaranteed an opportunity to host.
