2015 NWC Scholastic Bowl Results
Paulding won the Northwest Conference Scholastic Bowl competition with a 7-1 record in matches held at Delphos Jefferson High School. Bluffton, Jefferson and Spencerville tied for 2nd with 5-3 records in the competition followed by Ada, Crestview, Columbus Grove, Lincolnview and Allen East.

2015 NWC Football All-Conference Teams
Delphos Jefferson head coach Chris Sommers was selected as the Coach of the Year for the second year in a row in all-conference selection voting by coaches at a meeting in Delphos on Monday. Jefferson won the conference title by defeating Spencerville in the final game of the year to finish the year with a 7-0 league win/loss record.
Jefferson senior, Dalton Hicks, was voted NWC Defensive Player of the Year and Spencerville senior, Zach Goecke, was voted NWC Offensive Player of the Year. Hicks was selected as a first team all-conference linebacker for the second year in a row. Goecke was selected as a first-team choice at running back for the second consecutive year.
Delphos Jefferson, Spencerville, Ada and Crestview have all qualifed for the state football playoffs. On Friday, Nov. 5, Ada will travel to DeGraff Riverside and Crestview will travel to McComb for initial playoff action. Jefferson and Spencerville will meet at Stadium Park in Delphos for a rematch of their week 10 game on Saturday evening, Nov. 7.

Bluffton senior Tucker Routson was voted the 2015 Northwest Conference “Player of The Year” in a vote at a meeting of conference boys’ soccer coaches held in Delphos. Austin Leeth, a senior from Lincolnview, finished second in the balloting. Steve Smucker of Bluffton was selected as “Coach of the Year” in the balloting. This was the initial year for boys’ soccer as a conference sport in the Northwest Conference.
