2011 Northwest Conference Wrestling Tournament

Allen East captured their fourth consecutive Northwest Conference Wrestling title on Saturday at the annual tournament held this year at Paulding High School.  The Mustangs produced six champions and beat Columbus Grove 269.5 to 252.  Bluffton finished third in the meet.

The 2011 Northwest Conference Wrestling Championships will be held at Paulding on 2/12.

Paulding High School will host the 2011 Northwest Conference Tournament with 86 wrestlers entered. The tournament is a pool format, with 2 pools of 4 and qualifiers paired for 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th places. If there are six or less wrestlers in a weight, a full round robin will be wrestled with placers awarded by criteria. Wrestling will begin at 10:00am on Saturday, with the finals scheduled 45 minutes after the preliminaries (app 2:15pm).
