Delphos Jefferson senior guard, Kennedy Boggs, was a unanimous choice as 2011-12 NWC Player of The Year in voting by Northwest Conference girls basketball coaches at the annual NWC selection meeting Monday night at Delphos Jefferson High School.  Boggs succeeds former teammate and two-time winner Kristin Klausing as the third straight POY from Jefferson.

Boggs averaged 17.4 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals per game in leading the Wildcats to an 8-1 conference record and their third straight outright NWC Championship.

Boggs was joined on the NWC First Team by teammate Courtney Lewis, Columbus Grove’s Anna Ricker,  Allen East’s Kaycee Rowe, Paulding’s Jessica Farr, and LCC’s Lexi Kingsbery.
